Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals and drive cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage domestic and international suppliers, with a focus on high-precision components in regulated industries.
- Negotiate long-term supplier agreements to ensure consistent quality, delivery, and value.
- Foster supplier partnerships and lead regular performance reviews using key metrics (quality, cost, delivery, utilization).
Procurement Operations & Execution
- Lead procurement planning and execution to meet production schedules, customer requirements, and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing decisions with business needs.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to streamline workflows and enhance procurement visibility.
- Support cost optimization initiatives through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and alternative sourcing.
Supplier Quality & Development
- Oversee the supplier quality program to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer expectations.
- Drive supplier development initiatives to reduce nonconformances and improve process reliability.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement standardized quality practices across the supply chain.
- Lead internal and external quality improvement efforts aligned with plant and customer metrics.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies for supplier disruptions and geopolitical impacts.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure supplier contracts meet industry standards.
Skills and Experience:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, including 5+ years working with global suppliers.
- Proven track record in strategic procurement, supplier quality management, and regulatory compliance.

- In-depth knowledge of precision manufacturing, quality standards, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and e-procurement tools.

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
