Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Full-Time | Outpatient Behavioral Health
Salary Range: $140,000 – $225,000 annually

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative outpatient behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support, while working closely with medical providers, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for new and existing patients

  • Provide ongoing medication management and therapeutic interventions

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

  • Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary team members on treatment planning

  • Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Support and guide clinical support staff, interns, and students

  • Assist with chart reviews, compliance activities, and program development

  • Deliver educational sessions to internal teams and community partners as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced outpatient environment

  • Comfort using electronic health records and standard office software

  • Experience working in integrated or community-based care settings preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Required Qualifications

  • MSN or DNP from an accredited nurse practitioner program

  • Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

  • Active New York State NP license and DEA registration

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
