Radiology Technician
Type: temp to hire or direct hire
Schedule: Open to part time or full time hours, office hours are Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm
Requirements:
- Flu vaccination preferred but not required
- Must possess current ARRT certification
- Open to a limited licensed radiology technologist license as well
- Must have a valid and current Radiologic Technologist license in VA
- 1+ years’ experience in a clinical care setting preferred
- EMR experience – they work on ModMed
- Must be able to lift or move 40 pounds without assistance
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays
- Perform casting, bracing, drawing up injections and work closely with the physicians in the office to administer care to our patients.
- Develop a daily priority list that allows all scheduled procedures to be completed and makes time for emergencies as well
- Monitor all radiographic supplies and submit purchasing requests to maintain proper supply levels
- Additional clinical responsibilities: rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, assisting providers, DME, assisting with braces/casts for patients
