Summary: The Registered Dental Hygienist supports dental care by assisting with hygiene patients and virtual care.
Pay Range: $50-60 /hr

- 2-3 days a week, M-Th 9am-5pm, Fri 7am-3pm

- 2 days a week, M-F 8am-6pm, Sat 8am-4pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs all functions as permitted by the Dental Board of California for a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Performs ancillary functions of dental assisting, as needed, including but not limited to:
-Assists the doctor in procedures as needed
-Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
-Prophy’s teeth
-Instructs patients on oral hygiene
-Charts cavities and teeth with the doctor
-Sterilizes instruments
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has supervisory duties over other Back Office employees on days the office is performing “Teledentistry” services.
Education and/or Experience:
- Certification for a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Active Dental Hygiene License
- Current BLS certification
