Inpatient RD
Temp (up to 6 months)
- Covering Mat leave starting in January, looking for someone to start in December to train with person in role before leave
Pay: $35 – $40/hr
Hours: Monday – Friday, flex start between 7:30 and 9:00am
- Scheduled every 5th weekend and holidays
Interviews: Teams then onsite
Location: New Bedford, MA OR Fall River, MA
Job Description:
- Perform diversified duties as a member of the interdisciplinary team involving directing nutritional care for patients on various assigned nursing units.
- Screen patients for nutritional risks, assess patient nutritional status, providing teaching to patients and families, etc
- Responsible for developing nutrition care plans with established goals based on standards of care and sound scientific principles.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary approach to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other providers both verbally and in the EMR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition with an accredited program of supervised experience is required.
- Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and a valid Dietitian license from the Division of Professional Licensure is required.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience is preferred.
