Registered Nurse – Community Health (Adults only) 
Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Hours: Full Time (40 hours) Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–5:30 pm, Friday 9:30 am–5:30 pm
Salary: $70-105k, depending on experience

A health center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Adult Medicine department. This role offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a team-based, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with established standards and scope of practice

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other team members to assess patient needs

  • Triage patients, including walk-ins and those requesting telephonic advice or urgent care

  • Provide patient education and medication administration

  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate electronic health records

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the State of Connecticut

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

  • At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in primary care

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent care

  • Proficient in using electronic health records
