**2 positions – one more medical based care working with nephrologists, the other more surgical based care working with surgeons
- Salary based on experience ($130-160k)
- Mon-Fri, days (varied from 8:30-6:30). No on call or weekends!
- Permanent position with excellent benefits
- Onsite, some remote flexibility for administrative work
- Care for and manage post-transplant kidney and pancreas recipients and donors
- Both roles are OUTPATIENT, no work in the OR.
Surgery-based role duties:
- Must be in clinic 4-5 days/week with surgeons, usually 1 day is reserved for administrative work.
- are post-treatment care with surgeons or independently
- Seeing waitlist patients, pre-op exams, post-donor follow ups.
- Preferred Clinical background: Primary care or surgery experience
Medical-based role duties:
- 2-3 times a week in clinic with the nephrologists
- care coordination, medication changes, care planning
- Will be seeing patients in person AND guiding them over the phone or online
- Preferred clinical background: infusion, hematology, oncology, nephrology, dialysis centers, primary care
Requirements:
- NYS Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant
- Must have flexible availability during weekdays
- Clinical experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
