Make a Difference as a Leader
We’re looking for an experienced Director of Respiratory Therapy to lead a dedicated team and help shape the future of respiratory care services. In this role, you’ll guide a talented group of therapists, ensure excellent patient outcomes, and have a voice in growing and improving the program.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor the respiratory therapy team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Partner with nursing and other leaders to set department goals and keep quality standards high.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and staff development.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Manage the department’s equipment needs—ensuring everything is up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Contribute to budget planning and resource allocation for your team and department.
  • Stay hands-on with patient care when needed, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and clinical staff on respiratory care issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Massachusetts.
  • Pediatric respiratory therapy experience preferred, with experience in leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for developing people and improving processes.
