Security Service Technician

Must have Class D security license
must be able to pass CORI test

Responsibilities:
1. Program, configure and test systems including VLAN’s and routing traffic for industry/manufacturer best practices.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
3. Responds to customer calls and issues and immediately responds via remote connection.
4. Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed.
5. Complete project documentation.
6. Diagnose physical hardware and troubleshoot programming issues.
7. Provide remote service to customers.
8. Instruct and train customers on functional operation of the equipment/system.
9. Work with the customers network administrators for initial conception through system turnover.
10. Troubleshoot security systems functionality to achieve successful system deployment.

Requirements:
Minimum of three years of security system design experience with High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of SIP, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Video Intercom. Knowledge of network switches and integration with camera/access control systems.
