The Senior Accountant is responsible for the proof and reconciliation of Cash, Prepaid, Accrual, and Liability accounts. This role operates under the supervision of the Controller and assists them as needed.
Job Duties
- Prepare and record monthly general ledger entries
- Arrange monthly financial reports
- Participate monthly in all accounting, banking, and tax audits
- Posting Fixed Assets Acquisitions and Dispositions to the General Ledger and Fixed Assets software
- Provide advanced research and problem solving for Chief Financial Officer and Controller
- Prepare and file monthly multi-state sales tax
- Create daily cash reports on all incoming funds and prepare daily transfers. Also create supporting GL entries for fund movement.
- Assist with all incoming orders and audit for processing errors.
- Produce invoices and proof of delivery for customers as requested
- Monitor and invoice orders related to our Play System product line.
- Create and publish weekly Accounts Receivable Aging Report. Monitor outstanding credits and resolve issues as directed.
- Assist customers with questions regarding open invoices and/or credits
Cash Application:
- Apply payments within our accounts receivables system.
- Reconcile control sheet to accounts receivables system.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred
- Minimum of three year of experience working in the accounting field within manufacturing preferred
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of US tax regulations
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Well organized
