Senior Application Analyst

The Senior Application Analyst will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and intuitive software solutions that enable the firm to serve its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot software integrations that enable business applications to interact and support more efficient business processes.
  • Administer the firm’s Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Automate business processes by creating and maintaining scripts and workflows.
  • Manage relationships with technology partners that support integration projects and line of business applications.
  • Act as internal subject matter expert on core line of business applications.
  • Manage and execute technology projects independently, on time, scope, and budget.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with law firm enterprise applications including iManage, Aderant, Chrome River and CompuLaw.
  • Strong working knowledge of legal firm operations.
  • Business process automation using low-code and no-code solutions like Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps and PowerBI.
  • Agile project management.
  • Leverage APIs to integrate and automate cloud-based applications.
  • Competent in common programming and scripting languages like C#, Java, JavaScript, Python and PowerShell.
  • Use modern software development tools and techniques including software version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Skilled in SQL database management.
  • Basic understanding of cloud-native application design.
  • Knowledge of document management systems (DMS)
  • Excellent self-management of time, tasks, and priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in a law firm environment using common legal industry applications like iManage and Aderant.
  • Proven experience building software solutions to solve business problems.
