- Position Title: Senior Litigation Legal Assistant
- Location: Worcester Office
- Schedule: Full-Time, potential for one remote workday per week after training
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for attorneys in Business Litigation.
- Draft, proofread, and edit various legal documents, including motions, briefs, and correspondence.
- Assemble and file legal motions and other documents with the court.
- Coordinate and track multiple deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Engage in electronic filing (e-filing) with local, state, and federal courts.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and data entry.
- Adhere to the firm’s policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, particularly in litigation, with a minimum of 4 years suggested.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
- Familiarity with court filing systems, both electronic and paper.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Salary: Up to $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
