Senior Litigation Legal Assistant

  • Position Title: Senior Litigation Legal Assistant
  • Location: Worcester Office
  • Schedule: Full-Time, potential for one remote workday per week after training

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for attorneys in Business Litigation.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit various legal documents, including motions, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Assemble and file legal motions and other documents with the court.
  • Coordinate and track multiple deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Engage in electronic filing (e-filing) with local, state, and federal courts.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Perform general clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and data entry.
  • Adhere to the firm’s policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, particularly in litigation, with a minimum of 4 years suggested.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • Familiarity with court filing systems, both electronic and paper.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Salary: Up to $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
