Sr. Catering Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify incoming Wedding, Catering, and Social event inquiries to assess business potential.

  • Develop and present customized proposals, conduct site tours, and secure bookings through effective communication and client engagement.

  • Prepare and issue contracts, manage deposits, and follow up to ensure timely completion of all booking requirements.

  • Plan and execute assigned Weddings, Corporate, and Social events from inception through completion, including tastings, banquet event orders, room block management, and post-event billing.

  • Collaborate with all operational departments to ensure seamless event delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations and company standards.

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring all event details are clearly documented and executed.

  • Monitor hotel room block performance, adjusting allocations as needed while maintaining contractual commitments.

  • Partner with Banquet Team members and other departments to ensure smooth event transitions and superior guest experiences.

  • Build and sustain strong vendor relationships, updating preferred vendor lists and ensuring timely, accurate referrals.

  • Represent the organization’s mission and values through daily actions, promoting a culture of service, professionalism, and excellence.

  • Complete additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • In-depth understanding of the hotel, catering, and event industries.

  • Proficiency in Sales Force, Amadeus Room Diagramming, Knowland, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Opera preferred.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple events simultaneously.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to dynamic business needs.
