Position Responsibilities
- Complete daily postings to and monthly closings of the general ledger.
- Create monthly and quarterly internal management and regulatory reports.
- Assist with daily or monthly general ledger and checking account reconciliations.
- Initiate & repay the borrowings. Assist the Assistant Controller in preparation for audits and during the audit process.
- Cross-train on other month end and quarterly reports as a backup for the Assistant Controller.
- Maintain general ledger chart of accounts.
- Other special projects as assigned by Assistant Controller.
- Perform related work activities as required to meet department and Bank-wide goals.

Qualifications
Position Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Banking experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Maintain computer knowledge & ability (windows, word, excel spreadsheets).
