Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities
Preparation and generation of various monthly reports including bank statement reconciliation, monthly sales tax, general ledger closing, etc. Includes responsibility for account analysis of critical balance sheet accounts as well as identifying, investigating and correcting all variances.
Qualifications
- Requires an Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with 2-3 years’ experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial software packages a must
- Preferably Sage.
- Construction company experience a plus.
