Talent Acquisition Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the administration and/or management of programs and initiatives related to the acquisition of talent across the Organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition in support of said programs and initiatives; the Specialist works directly with hiring managers, candidates to ensure success against department goals, as well as broader company goals and strategic direction.

Responsibilities: Actively phone screen up to 30 candidates per day. Administers and manages the hiring process for salaried roles in assigned area. Supports all hiring initiatives in given territory for hourly roles, including MIT screening when necessary ensures adequate applicant flow for assigned territory works closely with District and Region Managers on planning around MIT and DMIT hires to ensure adequate bench strength in assigned market. Assists with interview scheduling, background checks, drug screenings, reference checks,, offer letters, new hire paperwork, electronic on-boarding and additional phases of the hiring process. Responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate departmental reports and communicating pertinent data, trends, and results to management. This may include recruiting reports, program reports, and contributions to the HR Dashboard report.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ years of recruiting experience working with an ATS and other HR technology/systems, 3+ years of agency staffing experience.

Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite skills/experience required; excellent relationship building skills, proven ability to work well under pressure or in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple (often competing) priorities, and ability to push back with professionalism..
