Tax Associate
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our well established and growing practice.
A company located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, is a tax preparation and consulting firm with a team of 12 professionals.
The firm provides tax and consulting services to high net worth individuals and their families, closely held businesses, business owners and entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations.
We are dedicated to providing outstanding service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of individual, partnership, fiduciary and corporate returns
- Tax planning for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses
- Recommend client tax planning strategies and ideas to managers and partners
- Communication with managers and/or partners regarding engagements
- Actively participate in continuing education and professional growth activities
- Contribute to and foster a positive work environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 3 years of recent tax experience in a CPA firm
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and experience with CCH ProSystem fx preferred
- Analytical, technical tax and accounting skills
- Excellent organizational/project management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Deadline-oriented and results driven.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
