Trauma Counselor ($26/hour)

Schedule: 
4 days/week, Monday – Thursday, 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one trauma-based counseling, on-site and in the community to increase survivor access to services
• Develop and facilitate survivor support groups rooted in psychoeducation, therapeutic, wellness and reflection, and/or skills-based practice
• Work to ensure survivor services are culturally relevant to survivors and communities that we serve
• Advocate for/with survivors and provide appropriate referrals and assistance as needed.
• Establish strong working relationships with the district attorney’s office, victim service advocates, and legal service providers in the community

Requirements:
B.A. in social work, psychology, sociology, community organizing, or related human services field. Or equivalent lesser degree and minimum 2 years’ experience
• 2-3 years of experience working in crisis intervention or systems-based advocacy services (e.g., medical, legal, public assistance, housing, etc) Previous experience in case management required
•Bilingual Required (Spanish, Khmer, or Haitian Creole)
