Travel Hospice Registered Nurse

Location: Monmouth County
- requires travel to LTC facilities, hospice centers, and homes throughout all 53 municipalities of Monmouth county.
Temp Pay: $55 – $60/hr
Perm rates: up to $48/hr
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday
- 8:30 – 5pm
- requires 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
- no weekends
- does have occasional on-call to cover absences
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey or Multi-State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Reliable transpiration?
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in acute-care settings
- medical, surgical, or oncology units.
As a Registered Nurse you will be an integral member of our Interdisciplinary Team responsible for assessing and addressing the comprehensive needs of patients and their families. Your role involves initiating appropriate interventions upon admission and ensuring a continuous, responsive plan of care throughout the patient’s journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care as outlined in individualized care plans, ensuring comfort and quality of life for terminally ill patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, nursing assistants, and other stakeholders to develop and adjust patient care plans as needed.
- Educate and support patients’ families and primary caregivers, providing guidance on care techniques and offering emotional support during this challenging time.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and advocating for patients’ wishes and needs.
