A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join its busy and growing practice. This role will support the practice from initial intake through final accounting.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, file, and track probate documents—petitions, inventories, accountings, and related court filings—ensuring compliance with all local and state requirements.

Manage post-death non-probate matters, including asset transfers and account retitling.

Draft and record deeds, certifications, and other required legal documents.

Review and interpret estate planning documents, including Wills and Trusts, for accuracy and compliance.

Prepare and organize federal and state Estate Tax, Gift Tax, and Fiduciary Income Tax returns with supporting documentation.

Coordinate with fiduciaries, financial advisors, court officials, creditors, and opposing counsel to move matters forward efficiently.

Conduct targeted legal research related to probate, trusts, and estates.

Maintain organized case files, calendars, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in estate and trust administration (state probate experience strongly preferred).

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters independently.

Experience preparing tax returns required.
Additional Details

Hybrid schedule available; in-office presence required 3 days per week.

Occasional travel to other office locations may be required.

Compensation range: $80,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience
