X Ray Technician – Fort Myers, FL
*Contract to Hire*
Interview: On-site
Schedule: 8, 10, or 12 hr shift
Pay: $28
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Perform x-rays within scope of practice
- Patient shielding and ALARA standards
- Maintain equipment and verify conditions of network and x-ray server
- Arrange laboratory services
- Update patient charts
- Assist during medical examinations
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Cross-train with front desk medical receptionist duties as needed
Skills
- Proven working experience as an X-ray tech and direct patient care
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- ARRT or BMO certification REQUIRED
License/Certification
- BLS Certification (Required)
- BMO (Required)
